LANDMARK INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

Guided by the core values of our rich Indian culture, we organized ‘Vishwa Sadbhavana: A Gesture of Goodwill’ event in Chicago, USA. We were honoured by the esteemed presence of United States Senator Ron Johnson, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, University Chancellors, and other eminent members of the Indian Diaspora at this iconic event. The illustrious guests from the United States and India commended the immense contributions of Shri Narendra Modi Ji towards India’s progress and cementing the US-India partnership as well as consolidating India’s influence in setting the global agenda.

Ahead of the historic first state visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to the United States of America in June 2023, we hosted a roundtable conference, "India-USA Partnership: A Key to New World Tech Order," in Silicon Valley, the world's preeminent hub for technology. This first-of-its-kind conference saw the convergence of tech leaders and educationists, who shared their valuable insights and vision for elevating and expanding the strategic technology partnership between India and the USA. AG Rob Bonta, Attorney General of California, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Carrying a message of love and peace from India to the USA, we offered Holy Chadar, brought from Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan, at the Mazar of His Holiness Shaikh M.R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen in Philadelphia. This Mazar, the first in the United States of America, stands as a symbol of unity and communal harmony. Mr. Ahamed Muhaiyaddeen Jonathan Granoff, President, Global Security Institute, and people from different religious and ethnic communities joined us on the occasion.

Ahead of Shri Narendra Modi Ji's historic USA visit, we organized an interfaith peace walk at the 9/11 Memorial in New York to reinvigorate our collective efforts to counter global terrorism. The 9/11 memorial stands as a living reminder of resilience and a tribute to remembrance, honouring thousands of innocent lives lost in the ghastly terror attacks at the World Trade Centre site. On this occasion, the NGO Tuesday's Children was honoured for dedicatedly helping the families of 9/11 victims and rendering outstanding service to humanity.

Indian Diaspora, Indian origin business leaders and international experts from diverse backgrounds, including Chief executive officers, managing directors, academicians, health and AI experts from IT companies hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for making India a global hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) at “Indiaspora AI Summit”, organised at Stanford University, USA.

At the Summit, Indian Diaspora and Indian Origin business leaders from IT and other sectors said PM Modi is shaping India’s future by using AI in making the nation's strategy for a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

A Research Paper, “Navigating The Nexus: Unravelling Critiques and Focal Axes of Business Index Constructs”, authored by Dr Martin Dahl, faculty of Department of Economics and Management, Lazarski University (Poland) and co-authored by Bob Sidhu and Tejas Dhami was presented during the summit. It condemned India’s agenda-based rating by Western agencies and lambasted bias against the fastest growing economy in global business indexes.

The rankings given to developing nations by international indexes are often agenda-driven and negative. These important facts were revealed at an international conference organized at Harvard University. Two eminent authors presented a research paper, "Deconstructing Global Measures: A Critical Assessment Of Selected Index Constructs And Methodological Approaches" on the assessment of the World Happiness Index, World Press Freedom Index and Global Hunger Index rankings. The conference was attended by distinguished academics, researchers, and scholars from 11 countries.

It was revealed that the World Happiness Index ignores important factors such as income, inequality, social justice, and environmental sustainability. This reveals biases and hidden agendas. India was ranked behind Pakistan and Afghanistan in the World Press Freedom Index. India was ranked lower than Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and Uganda in the Global Hunger Index. The Global Hunger Index does not fully incorporate facts based on the complexities of hunger and malnutrition. The research paper not only raised questions about the incomplete methodology and authenticity of the global index, but also exposed its bias against developing countries like India and its agenda-driven rankings.

Several religious leaders from minority communities and members of the Indian diaspora in the United States lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fostering the inclusive development of minorities in India, ensuring they play an integral role in the nation's global ascent over the past decade. These leaders participated in a 'Roundtable Meeting' held at Times Square, focused on inclusive growth and equal opportunities for all communities, especially minorities, under PM Modi's leadership.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji was honoured with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award for Minority Upliftment at an event in Maryland, USA. The award was jointly given by Washington Adventist University and the Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM) to recognize his work in inclusive development and minority welfare.

Leaders from various Indian-American communities applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to “inclusive growth” in India. At the Global Equity Alliance Summit, hosted at Washington Adventist University, the leaders said the minority communities in India have remained safe and secure under Modi's governance.

New York City pulsed with vibrant color, music, and celebration on August 17, 2025, as the 43rd Annual India Day Parade transformed Madison Avenue into a dazzling tribute to Indian heritage. Organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA – NY-NJ-CT-NE), the parade attracted an estimated crowd of over 150,000 spectators, drawing in families, dignitaries, artists, and visitors from across the region.

This year’s theme, “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” (May All Be Happy, May All Be Free From Suffering), carried a powerful message of peace and universal well-being. Indian film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, served as the Parade’s Grand Marshals.
